Timer Backgrounds: Transparent vs. Solid
Setting the background to transparent allows your email's background to show through the timer design. Below is a side-by-side comparison of transparent versus solid.

Where do I find the option for selecting a transparent background?
During the process of creating a new timer, you can set the background option to transparent.
What is a matte color?
Upon selecting transparent, you'll notice that you have the option to select a matte color. In order for the edges of the timer to seamlessly blend-in with your email, you need to select a matte color which matches your email's background. Matte colors are applied to the tiny, semi-transparent pixels which trace the outer edges of the image’s shape. Selecting an appropriate matte color will help maintain a great appearance for your transparent timer.
Examples of different matte colors on an email with a green background:
Matte color: Green Result: “DAYS” has clean edges. | Matte color: Yellow Result: “DAYS” has uneven edges. |
We hope that the transparent backgrounds help you integrate your timers more seamlessly than ever!
